I was extremely lucky to have Amber on my team for three years. More than just a direct report, she was an amazing design partner. With her down-to-earth, practical, and scalable thinking, we grew our team from 6 to 35+ talented people. Amber played a key role in scaling our design systems, onboarding processes, and specialized design studio, and introduced design & research program management, which allowed our designers, researchers, and content creators to collaborate and make a huge impact. For me, Amber embodies resilience. It was inspiring to watch her tackle the toughest challenges without hesitation. She formed strong bonds with engineering, driving design systems across the entire app journey. Many of the major changes we saw in the talabat app from 2019 to 2024 were thanks to Amber’s persistence in advocating for and creating solid frameworks for scalable user experiences. Amber is an invaluable asset to any team. I miss our brainstorming sessions and chats, and I truly believe any leader would be fortunate to have her. Thank you for all your hard work, Amber! Amber is a standout designer that knows how to get things done. I had the pleasure of working with her on a digital reinvention project in the government sector. Amber took ownership of a complex end-to-end experience, successfully managing multiple stakeholders and delivering a great user experience. I have worked closely with Amber on a large government digital transformation project. Amber was our digital journey designer who was responsible for the journey UX designs from ideation to implementation. Amber took the business requirements through the entire design lifecycle, provided recommendations and even participated and lead the build vs UX design reviews. Amber is a goal, outcome and detailed oriented person who works very well with other team members (product owners, developers, BAs and testers).
