For the past 15+ years, I've been immersed in the world of design and product. I began my career in UX design, transitioned into design program management, and eventually found my passion in design leadership. The highlights of my leadership career include 2 incredible years as the Head of Design at Delivery Hero (talabat), 3 years building and scaling a DesignOps practice and a design system team from the ground up, and a transformative year at IBM (UX lead), where I honed my skills in design thinking workshops, UX design, user research, and cross-functional collaboration.

These days I enjoy designing design teams and thinking through product strategy. As the Head of Design at Delivery Hero MENA, talabat, I've built a talented team from the ground up, covering Content Design, Design Operations, and 4 Product Tribes, all driven by our mission to create a world-class online delivery experience in the Middle East. In my role, I've spearheaded significant initiatives like a global rebranding effort across 9 markets and orchestrated a 45% growth in the design team within a year.

I'm passionate about driving organisational change and thrive in ambiguous environments. My experience includes founding and scaling a DesignOps/design system team and mentoring senior designers and design managers (+ADPList Mentor).
